name: Jeremy

Jeremy is a 9-ish year-old boy who finds himself much more comfortable wrapped in the world that he imagines than that of the real one, which he finds frustrating.

He's not the perfect student (though he is not unintelligent), he has no real interest in sports (though he is not out of shape), and he doesn't really relate well with his family, or other kids his age.

Jeremy's only real connection to understanding the world around him is through his friendship with an imaginary lamb named Tim.

Name: Tim
Jeremy And Tim - Character: Tim

Tim is a little lamb who speaks perfect english. He is also the Yin to Jeremy's Yang. His low-key attitude and conservative approach often clash with Jeremy's "shoot- first-ask-questions-later" mentality.

He plays many roles in Jeremy's childhood: a comrade, a conscience, a confidant, a partner-in-crime, or even the perfect traveling companion to the undiscovered.

But above all, Tim is Jeremy's best friend. And he is always up for what Jeremy has in store for them next.

Name: Dad
Jeremy And Tim - Character: Dad

Jeremy's dad is an average, but intellectual man who more often than not is interrupted by Jeremy in the middle of a "good book".

His interests include history, literature, and "the great outdoors" (all of which he often takes the opportunity to "discuss" with those around him until they are board to tears).

His relationship with Jeremy usually consists of a confused attempts at discussing topics that Jeremy not only doesn't understand, but also isn't really interested in. This leads to a very odd and frustrating time for both of them.

name: Mom

Jeremy's mom is the average mom who is doing her best to create a good home for her family, but with the added stress of keeping track of Jeremy every day.

Jeremy's mom loves him absolutely, but try as she may, she just cannot get past how absurd his actions seem at times, which sometimes leads her to simply give up and stop trying to understand him.

Jeremy's mom also serves as the only character who can keep Jeremy's dad in check with very little effort when she wants to.

name: Kelly

Kelly is a girl who lives down the street from Jeremy, and also attends the same school. She is in most ways, the very opposite of Jeremy.

She is a sporty, hard-working student who is popular, though she doesn't seek approval from anybody to achieve her popularity. Kelly is at her core an individual who simply doesn't compromise who she is for the people around her - which is the only similarity she has with Jeremy.

Though neither would admit it, this is likely why they both enjoy one another's company.

Name: Teacher
Jeremy And Tim - Character: Teacher

As an elementary age student, a lot of Jeremy's day is spent in a classroom, in which he (often unintentionally) makes the life of his teacher very much more challenging than she might have thought.

Its not clear exactly how old Teacher is, but it is obvious that her years of dealing with other children (probably not unlike Jeremy) have left her jaded and ready for summer time before the Fall semester ends. But she makes a noticeable attempt to give it her all whenever possible... until Jeremy reminds her of how things are.

Name: Grandma
Jeremy And Tim - Character: Grandma

Jeremy's Grandma is a character so happy and full of cheer that she often comes across as naive and even a bit obnoxious. Her loving eye for Jeremy makes her ultimately blind to the things he does, which often leads to frustration toward her from Jeremy's Dad and Mom (who feel that she spoils Jeremy).

The majority of the comedy that comes from Grandma's character springs from moments when she seems absolutely oblivious to what is upsetting everyone around her. She is just to happy to notice.

name: Grandpa

Of all the characters, Grandpa relates the most with Jeremy. He is a soft-spoken man with a big heart, and on the rare occasion that he gives his opinion, everybody is inclined to listen.

Grandpa often becomes the contrasting figure to his son, Jeremy's Dad, by countering his personality with laid-back optimism and a healthy does of being able to "stop and smell the roses".

Although Grandpa is proud of both of his sons, and loves them equally, he gets along best with Uncle J.

Jeremy And Tim - Character: Grandpa
name: Jenny

Jenny is Jeremy's older sister. She rarely takes much notice in Jeremy (who she thinks is very weird and irritating). When she does find herself being part of Jeremy's day, it often leads to conflict.

Although Jenny is only a few years older than Jeremy, the age differences are crucial, and they live in totally different social worlds.

Tim doesn't particularly like Jenny, but encourages Jeremy to build a better relationship with her out of principle.

Name: Uncle J
Jeremy And Tim - Character: Uncle J

Uncle J is the younger, more laid back brother of Jeremy's Dad. As with Jeremy's Dad, it is not clear what line of work Uncle J has, but there is more than one occasion in which it is eluded that Uncle J has recently lived with Grandma & Grandpa.

More often than not, Uncle J is the most relatable character because he ends up being the most "normal". He is the most clear window through which we as viewers are able to clearly see how distinct the rest of the characters would seem to us "normal" folk.
